What Membership Means

Our members make it all work!

Our members — community service providers and health care professionals, law enforcement and judicial agencies and educators — are crucial in helping us face the challenge of addressing interpersonal violence. From serving on our many committees, where they provide professional expertise and wonderfully creative ideas, to offering up-to-date information and facts to a wide audience as members of our Speaker's Bureau, our members make it all work.

With dedicated perseverance, our members continue to educate and inform the public about local services available. With their help we will continue training law enforcement, first responders, educators and caretakers on how to detect, report and prevent interpersonal violence in our communities.

We are committed to providing an effective, coordinated response toward interpersonal violence through programs that educate the community about violence and abuse within families and intimate or dependent relationships. A key part of our strategy is to engage the public in violence prevention and to inform the community about what assistance is available, whether for victims or perpetrators.
